Lindsay Broughton is a 20 year-old singer/songwriter from Brooklin, Ontario whose musical influences are rooted in Country and Rock. Lindsay began singing at the age of 5 - largely at the urging of family and friends who suspected that her musical talents were well above the norm. Her teen years were largely spent developing musically, by learning the guitar and embracing the creative process. As an eighteen year-old, she focused her efforts on songwriting by joining the "School Alliance of Student Songwriters" (SASS) and quickly rose to prominence.

Since then, it's been much personal and professional growth, adding rich layers to singing and songwriting that transcends her youth. Her reputation as a prolific and hard-working musician is ever-growing, affording her the opportunity to co-write with established artists such as Dan Hill, Holly McNarland, Eddie Schwartz, Dean McTaggart, Joel Feeney and many others. She's already written or co-written over 80 songs, and in her own self-deprecating words, that's only counting "the decent ones".

Having recently inked a development deal with Canadian Indie label Curve Music, and toiling under the guidance of industry veteran and Manager Brian Hetherman, a debut album is in the works. Fans and music lovers will watch and listen closely... "Somebody Someday" is not only charming and melodic, it may also be foreshadowing the inevitable.
