Country music singer/songwriter Lindsay Broughton has been making waves in the Canadian music scene, already receiving acclaim by her peers by winning the “Rising Star Award” at the inaugural CMAO Awards in 2013 and as featured artist of the month by the Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN), and securing a featured spot in Songwriter Universe Magazine.  Signed to premiere Canadian independent label Curve Music, her career is on the rise, having already performed in front of thousands of fans, including the Canadian Country Music Awards “New Artist” showcase and followed up with multiple showcases at the Country Music Week. Lindsay also played in Nashville, Tennessee on the Billy Block Show multiple times, and had multiple performances at the Boots and Heart’s Festival in the summer of 2012 and 2013.  “Each and every show I play is a completely different experience whether it’s because of the crowd the venue or both; I think that’s why the thrill of performing so incredible to me. That feeling of excitement never gets old!” says Lindsay.

Set to release her debut album in the June of 2014, following up her self-titled EP release in 2012, the enchanting Brooklin, Ontario native continues to grow as a recording artist and musical composer by drawing inspiration for her songs from all walks of life, having written over 100 songs to date.  Whether it is personal emotions, movies, dreams, or whatever the experience, Lindsay will pen a tune based on what she recognizes as a realistic situation relatable to others.

Sharing the stage with the likes of Chad Brownlee, Emerson Drive and Gord Bamford, whom she recently shared the stage with on the CCMA Awards, only adds to her accomplishments, which include being voted Overall Musician Of The Year as well as Country Musician Of The Year at the Radio Nation Music Awards. In addition Lindsay is appearing as a model in the 2013 and 2014 Catalogue for LUG www.luglife.com, as well as working closely with LUG on a number of Marketing and Promotional campaigns. Lindsay Broughton’s first single “Restless As The Rain” made the Top 100 songs of 2012 on KX96, and Lindsay’s follow up single “River Wide Enough Song” went Top 40 and also made the Top 100 songs of 2013 on KX 96.

Lindsay’s new single and Video “Never Saw It Coming” from her upcoming album is at Radio and CMT now and the song is already climbed its way into the Top 50 Country Radio Charts. Look for Lindsay playing Country festivals this Spring and Summer across Canada.
