Curve Music and Amplified Distribution Announce Physical Distribution Agreement

CURVE MUSIC AND AMPLIFIED DISTRIBUTION ANNOUNCE WORLDWIDE 
PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT 
 
TORONTO, ON – Today, Curve Music is pleased to announce it has reached a worldwide physical distribution agreement with Amplified Distribution. Through Amplified‘s global platform Curve Musicwill extend its reach and escalate the distribution of label products. Under this new agreement, Curve Music’s roster of artists will be supported by AMPED and Alliance Entertainment, one of the world’s leading wholesale and distribution organizations.

2017 marks the 15th anniversary of the Toronto based independent record label Curve Music. An industry veteran with over two decades of experience, founder and label President Brian Hethermanbegan his career at  MCA/Universal Canada where he worked with top acts including, The Tragically Hip, Guns N Roses, Aerosmith, Peter Gabriel and Alanis Morissette. In 1995 Hetherman was appointed the youngest Director of A&R at MCA/Universal Canada and was responsible for the label’s signing of successful Canadian artists including Souldecision, Holly McNarland, Age of Electric and Jason McCoy.
Curve Music was developed after Hetherman began Cerberus Management and Consulting and realized that an independent label was a necessity for artist managers in the current music climate. Today, Curve Music‘s roster includes The Dead South, Garth Hudson, Lindsey Broughton among others.
Curve Music’s current digital distribution agreement for North America will remain in place with  Entertainment One and worldwide with IDLA.
